It Works Wednesday - Hope and Help for Lupus

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease, which means the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. This leads to long-term (chronic) inflammation.
The underlying cause of autoimmune diseases is not fully known.
SLE is much more common in women than men. It may occur at any age, but appears most often in people between the ages of 10 and 50. African Americans and Asians are affected more often than people from other races.

Symptoms vary from person to person, and may come and go. Almost everyone with SLE has joint pain and swelling. Some develop arthritis. Frequently affected joints are the fingers, hands, wrists, and knees.

There are more people with Lupus who take It Works products then I realized.  I did a search on our website and found testimony after testimony of people who were diagnosed with Lupus and how they were coping with it while using our products!  Most of the people had been suffering with it for some time and on different medications which had less then desirable side effects!  They had begun taking It
Works products as a way to get off of their medications and found that they felt better then ever!

The consensus has been that Vital, New You, and Greens is a winning combination.  People have also commented that the Defining Gel has helped ease aches and pains when they massage it into their skin.  The Wraps or Ultimate Body applicator can also help, but I would recommend cutting it in half and checking to see how your body responds to a smaller dose.  Some people have difficulty because it is detoxing your body and their kidneys have been affected by the Lupus.

As a side note, I am not a doctor and am just reporting to you what others on the products have told me and others!  Always consult your doctor when going off medications.  You can find all of the ingredients for every supplement and product on the It Works website.

"I have fibromyalgia, unconfirmed systemic lupus, intrinsic factor deficiency. I have been using vitals, greens new you. It has helped better than an Rx I have gotten from the doctors. Haven't tried relief, because it is more for joints and these are soft tissue/muscular pain diseases I don't know if it would help."  -Emily
